Seit 2005 veröffentlichten John Wetton und Geoff Downes unter dem Namen iCon regelmäßig Studio- und Live-Alben. Insgesamt sind bis heute fünf iCon-Veröffentlichungen erschienen. »Urban Psalm« gab es bislang nur als DVD-Version über die Homepage der Künstler und ist hiermit die »offizielle« Veröffentlichung.

More information: Icon was the collaborative band of the late John Wetton and keyboardist Geoff Downes. URBAN PSALM has only been available as a DVD on the artists’ merchandise store previously, so this is its first mainstream release, now with the audio as an accompanying additional two CDs.

Juni 2017 · The collaboration of the ASIA co-founders, John Wetton and Geoff Downes’ iCon, has led to the formation of Epicon Records (via Cherry Red) and its first release of Urban Psalm as a 2CD/1DVD set. The release was planned before John Wetton’s death in January 2017 and is fully approved by Geoff Downes and the Wetton Estate.
