April 13, 2024. At Hunter, the students attend only the highest-caliber universities following high school. They are ready for college and often find the workload in college similar, to or easier than high school.
Hunter College High School (HCHS) is a part of the Hunter College Campus Schools, the laboratory schools of the City University of New York administered by Hunter College. Our high school serves students in grades 7-12. The only entry year for HCHS is 7th grade.
