On Come 2 My House no less than ten out of thirteen tracks were new compositions penned by herself, either with Prince or Larry Graham, other longtime collaborators like vocalists Mark Stevens and Sandra St. Victor, Robert D. Palmer, Howard McCrary or The New Power Generation member Kirk Johnson.

On Come 2 My House, Khan covers Prince’s Don’t Talk 2 Strangers and his 1995 out-takes Journey 2 The Center Of Your Heart and Eye’ll Never B Another Fool. She additionally covers the 1974 track Hair by Larry Graham who was likewise receiving Prince’s help to revive his career, co-producing Graham’s LP GCS 2000.
NPG Records was formed in 1993, and by the end of the decade he was using it to showcase two high-profile funk acts who deeply inspired Prince: innovative bassist Larry Graham and the powerhouse vocalist Chaka Khan.

Khan does get co-producer credit as she and his Purpleness co-wrote most of the tracks together. Overall this is an okay album.
