Guitarist Danny Parks joined the Opry Band in 2022. He moved to Nashville in 1982 and played his first Opry spot with the legendary Jean Shepard later that same year. He has played four different instruments on various top-10 singles and scored movie soundtracks for Toy Story 2 and The Beverly Hillbillies.
The Official Site of Pro BMX Freestyle Rider Danny Parks. Starting From Flatland... Growing up in the Bronx I was turned on to Freestyle at an early age. My parents bought me my first bike (a Ross curved frame tubing, monkey bars, banana seat the whole nine) for my seventh birthday.
Involved in BMX Freestyle for more than 20 years, Danny's riding is his passion. Whether it's sessioning the local ramp park or curb, competing for a spot at the X Games or Gravity Games, doing a demo hundreds of miles from home, or writing for ESPN, Danny's roots run deep.
He’s had top 10 singles on 4 different instruments – guitar, fiddle, mandolin, and banjo. His studio credits are diverse, ranging from legends George Jones, Mel Tillis, and Hank Williams Jr. to Toby Keith, Brooks and Dunn, Blaine Larsen, Jo Dee Messina, and Jamey Johnson.
Danny Park is easily reached from Hassocks and Hurstpierpoint and is traversed by many well-maintained and signposted footpaths. The approach to Danny winds gently through the park and across the substantial fishpond, which is shown on the 1666 Robert Whitpaine estate map.
