In 1999, Edwards recorded a six-song EP entitled Building 55 and pressed 500 copies. By the fall of 2000, she was on tour across Canada managing her own gigs. In 2001, she wrote seven of the ten songs for her 2002 debut release

26. Jan. 2006 · Kathleen Edwards records a six-song EP entitled "Building 55" and presses 500 copies. This EP, now out of print, is the first recorded output of Edwards' career prior to her signing with a label and releasing her full length debut, 2003's Failer. Here are six tracks off "Building 55" for posterity.
