Talvin Singh OBE (born 1970) is an English musician, producer, and composer. A tabla player, he is known for creating an innovative fusion of Indian classical music and drum and bass. Singh is generally considered involved with an electronica subgenre called Asian Underground, and more recently as Indian and/or Asian electronica.

They’d spent over a decade constantly evolving their sound at a pace no one could outrun.
Superstition is the tenth studio album by English rock band Siouxsie and the Banshees, released on 10 June 1991 by Polydor Records. The lead single, " Kiss Them for Me ", gave the band its first top 40 Billboard Hot 100 entry in the United States, peaking at No. 23, with the album peaking at No. 65 on the Billboard 200 chart. [1]

Talvin Singh added percussion, tabla & tavil to a couple of tracks and there is an Asian influence throughout “Superstition”. This version of Siouxsie & The Banshees is very different from the band that made “The Scream” in 1978 or for that matter “Juju” 10 years earlier in 1981.
