Siratun Nabi (Urdu: سیرت النبی) is a 7-volume seerah book, or biography of the Islamic prophet Muhammad, which was written by Shibli Nomani and Sulaiman Nadvi. This is Shibli Nomani's latest and most popular work.
2. Mai 2013 · Sirat-un-Nabi (Life of the Prophet) is arguably one of the greatest and most authentic Sirah Rasul Allah (biographies) of the Islamic prophet Muhammad, written in Urdu by Shibli Nomani and his student, Sulaiman Nadvi in 6 volumes.
The phrase sīrat rasūl allāh, or as-sīra al-nabawiyya, refers to the study of the life of Muhammad. The term sīrah was first linked to the biography of Muhammad by Ibn Shihab al-Zuhri ( d. 124/741–2), and later popularized by the work of Ibn Hisham ( d. 833).
