Middle of the Road feat. Sally Carr trat in den 2000er Jahren in der Formation Sally Carr, Kenny McKay (Gitarre, Gesang), Shug Devlin (Keyboards), Stewart McEwan (Bass) und Ken Andrew auf. 2006 wurde Stewart McEwan nach vier gemeinsamen Jahren durch Jacek Jan Komiago ersetzt.
Original lead singer Sally Carr, drummer Ken Andrew, guitarist Ian McCredie and his bassist brother Eric McCredie, founded the band on 1 April 1970 in Glasgow, Scotland. They had already played together under the name Part Four since 1967 and later in Latin American style under the name Las Caracas.
Am 28. August 1942 kommt Schlagzeuger Ken Andrew in Bearsden, Glasgow, Schottland zur Welt. Gemeinsam mit Sänger Sally Carr tritt er bis heute in verschiedenen Shows auf.
Auch 1972 standen Middle Of The Road mit ihrer attraktiven Sängerin Sally Carr im Mittelpunkt. “Sacramento” wurde der nächste Nummer 1 Hit für Sally und ihre Mitstreiter Ken Andrew (Schlagzeug), Ian Lewis Campbell (Gitarre) und seinen bereits 2007 verstorbenen Bruder Eric Lewis Campbell (Bass).
Scottish Music Awards. 16th November 2023 Ken Andrew. This Facebook page and the Band’s website was set up to celebrate the original Middle of the Road’s recordings in the 70s and maintain contact with the band for fans, old and new, as it toured Europe in the present.
