Roger Kynard "Roky" Erickson (July 15, 1947 – May 31, 2019) was an American musician and singer-songwriter. He was a founding member and the leader of the 13th Floor Elevators and a pioneer of the psychedelic rock genre.

16. März 2005 · The Elevators tracks on the anthology are - while better than the Contemptables - still no good. It might do as an OK sampler/introduction to Roky, but do yourself a favor and seek out superior sources for these precious tracks.
