Die Band wurde 1992 von Jason Lytle ( Sänger, Gitarrist, Keyboarder ), Kevin Garcia ( Bassist) und Aaron Burtch ( Schlagzeuger) gegründet. 1995 kamen Gitarrist Jim Fairchild und Keyboarder Tim Dryden hinzu.
