Tom Peterson and Another Language is the debut and only (mini)-album from American musician and former Cheap Trick bassist Tom Peterson, released in 1984 under his group name Tom Peterson and Another Language.
Petersson left Cheap Trick in August 1980, shortly before the release of the album All Shook Up. He worked with his then-wife Dagmar on material for a solo album, which was eventually released in 1984 as the six-song EP Tom Peterson and Another Language. Petersson also toured with Carmine Appice in 1982.
Tom Peterson and another language. In 1984 the ‘Tom Peterson and Another Language’ eponymous 5-song LP was released by Enigma Records. For this band, Tom dropped an ‘s’ from ‘Petersson’ and used the more common spelling of his surname.

1. Feb. 2005 · To fans of the 12-string bass, Tom Petersson needs no introduction. Cheap Trick recorded 'At Budokan' in 1978, an album which firmly established the band and set the standard for the sound of the 12. Over the past 25 years Tom has worked with several different companies to create new styles and improvements on the original models.
