Collingwood is the largest secondary school in Surrey, with over 2,000 students, including more than 400 in the sixth form. It occupies a 30-acre (120,000 m 2 ) campus and is divided in the three main areas: 'Kingston' (Years 10 & 11), 'Barossa' (Years 7–9), and the sixth form centre .
Collingwood College was created in 1971 through the amalgamation of Bagshot County Secondary School, Barossa County Secondary School and Frimley and Camberley Grammar School. Collingwood is now one of the largest schools in Surrey with nearly 1800 students on roll.
