  4. Franklin Delano Roosevelt High School is named after the 32nd President of the United States, who was born and lived in Hyde Park. The original F.D. Roosevelt High School (now Haviland Middle School) was dedicated by President Roosevelt in 1940. The first class graduated in 1941.
