Sinthea Shmidt, better known as Sin, Red Skull, and Mother Superior, in an antagonist in Marvel Comics. She is the daughter of the main Red Skull. She was created by J.M. DeMatteis and Ron Frenz, and first appeared in Captain America # 290 in February 1984.
Needing an instant heir, he used his Deus Machina to artificially age her into adulthood, mentally indoctrinated her, and empowered her as Mother Superior. The Skull also aged and empowered four orphan girls whom he had taught to revere Sinthea as a goddess, creating the Sisters of Sin :Sisters Agony (aka pain), Death, Dream, and Pleasure.
Sin is the fifth studio recording from Mother Superior and the first of two to be produced by MC5 legend Wayne Kramer .
