This first volume of Lil Green's complete recorded output features her initial four RCA Bluebird sessions which resulted in 20 recordings. Among these were her memorable career songs "Romance In The Dark" and "Why Don't You Do Right?," both of which sold sufficiently well to be worthy of reissue.
