  1. Sam Cooke at the Copa is a live album by American singer-songwriter Sam Cooke. The album was released in 1964 in the United States by RCA Victor. It was Cooke's only live album to be released during his lifetime; Live at the Harlem Square Club, 1963, although recorded earlier, was not released until 1985.

  4. Nach dem Tod von Sam Cooke im Jahr 1964 heiratete Bobby Womack 21-jährig dessen acht Jahre ältere Witwe Barbara Cooke. Der dadurch entstandene Skandal weitete sich in den Folgejahren aus, als diese Ehe durch Womacks Affäre mit seiner Stieftochter Linda scheiterte und Barbara auf Bobby schoss.

  5. Bei diesem nahm er unter anderem die Musikgruppen The Simms Twins und The Valentinos sowie Bobby Womack und Johnnie Taylor unter Vertrag. Sam Cooke verließ Keen Records und schloss mit dem Major-Label RCA einen Vertrag ab. Seine erste Single, Chain Gang, wurde einer seiner bekanntesten Songs.
