Year Inducted: 2015. “I think I always knew that I’d be an artist,” Carson Van Osten says, “and although I was too young to remember it, my parents told me that I said I wanted to draw cartoons for Walt Disney when I grew up.” And since 1970, Carson Van Osten has done just that.
Although he retired from Disney in 2000, he has continued to work on publishing projects and serve as a consultant on games like 'Disney Epic Mickey' and 'Where’s My Mickey?'. Carson van Osten was named a Disney Legend in August 2015. Sadly, he passed away at the end of that year.
