History. Original late-1970s band. London was formed in 1978 by Lizzie Grey, Nikki Sixx and Dane Rage (real name Dane Scarborough). The three met when Sixx and Rage were recruited to play bass and drums for Sister, the band that Grey was in with Blackie Lawless. This lineup did not last long and soon Grey, Sixx and Rage left to form London. [1] [2]
London Daze also includes three tracks from a 16-track demo recorded by London in 1980 featuring ex- Mott the Hoople vocalist Nigel Benjamin on vocals [2] and Mötley Crüe bassist Nikki Sixx on bass. Seit 2006 tourt die Band wieder, unter dem Synonym „D'Priest's New London“. Geschichte. London wird 1978 von Gitarrist Lizzie Grey gegründet. In einer ersten Inkarnation der Band wird das Line Up mit Sänger und Gitarrist Blackie Lawless, Bassist Nikki Sixx und Schlagzeuger
Zuerst übernahm er nur den Vornamen und verdoppelte das ‚K‘. Nachdem er sich zuerst Nikki London nannte und auch kurz über Nikki Nine nachdachte, entschied er sich final, auch das „Syxx“ abgewandelt als „Sixx“ zu übernehmen. Mit seiner ersten Frau hat er drei Kinder.
