After his smash 1989 hit album Trash, Cooper attempted to continue his success with his follow-up album, which features guest performances from Lance Bulen, Slash, Ozzy Osbourne, Vinnie Moore, Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, Nikki Sixx and Mick Mars (both of Mötley Crüe ).
HEY STOOPID combines an intense rock and roll energy with an irreverent attitude of pure summer fun. "I kept this album on a street level, with a sense of humor," explains Alice. "Summertime is when you can be as stoopid as possible.
In addition to Slash, Ozzy and Satriani, other well-known musicians who made guest appearances on the album include Steve Vai, Nikki Sixx, Vinnie Moore and Mick Mars. It was helmed by Peter Collins, who has also worked with Rush, Bon Jovi and Suicidal Tendencies.
2. Juli 1991 · Notably, the track “Feed My Frankenstein” features famed guitar duo Steve Vai and Joe Satriani playing together, accompanied by Nikki Sixx on Bass. It is also featured in the 1992 comedy film Wayne’s World and on the official soundtrack.
