21. März 2024 · ROS entstehen z.B in den Mitochondrien als Nebenprodukt der Zellatmung, sie werden aber auch von Immunzellen im Rahmen der Immunabwehr gegen Bakterien, Viren und Parasiten gebildet. Hyperoxid und Wasserstoffperoxid spielen außerdem eine Rolle bei Funktionen wie z.B. der Signalübertragung im Gehirn. Außerdem wirken sie dort vasodilatierend.
Die ursprünglichen Mitglieder von Delta 5, Julz Sale ( Gesang / Gitarre ), Ros Allen ( Bass) und Bethan Peters (Bass), gründeten die Band „aus Spaß“, [1] aber sie wurden bald Teil der florierenden Post-Punk Szene in Leeds. Später kamen Kelvin Knight als Schlagzeuger und Alan Riggs als Gitarrist hinzu.

Along with Julz Sale and Bethan Peters, Ros Allen became the third girl to join, having previously played in the starting line up of The Mekons.
