9. März 2021 · Er versammelte etliche Musiker in Buxton. Zum großen Teil spielten sie gemeinsam mit Alexis Korner in dessen Bands oder wussten was sie ihm musikalisch zu verdanken hatten. Es gibt drei einzelne CDs mit dem Konzert: Volume 1: Den Anfang macht Jack Bruce mit seinen durch Cream bekannte eigene Songs oder Bluesstandards.
In seiner Band Blues Incorporated spielten britische musikalische Stars wie z. B. Mick Jagger (vertretungsweise 1962), Ginger Baker, Dick Heckstall-Smith, Charlie Watts, Cyril Davies, Jack Bruce, Brian Jones, Duffy Power u.v.m. Alexis Korner gilt als einer der wichtigsten Vertreter des Blues-Revivals Anfang der 1960er Jahre.
27. Feb. 2019 · After Korner and Davis split for “authentic” artistic reasons, Korner’s band became jazzier but soon split up when Graham Bond took Jack Bruce and Ginger Baker with him to form his own band. From now on, schism ruled, and the personnel changed with the weather.
