The Parramatta Marist High School is an independent Roman Catholic single-sex secondary day school for boys, located in Westmead, a suburb of the western region of Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. Founded in 1820 by John Therry, it was the first Catholic school in Australia, and is the oldest school in Australia.

History of Parramatta Marist High School. Founder: Father John Therry established the school on hunter street, Parramatta in 1820. Description: In 1837, The school was moved to the site of the current cathedral.
