The C.I.A. formed after The Stereo Crew (Ice Cube & Sir Jinx) left Epic Records in 1986. They joined up with their neighborhood friend and MC, Kid Disaster (K-Dee) to form the C.I.A. and release "Cru' in Action" on Kru-Cut Records in 1987 and breaking out with the hood anthem song "My Posse".
