Abraham "Abe" Lincoln is the King of Mars. He debuts in the original animated short as what is implied to be his real self, where he encourages Finn to believe in himself after the Ice King transports his conscious mind into the past and to Mars, both for reasons not explained.
Finn warps to Mars, and witnesses Jake being put on trial in front of Abraham Lincoln (voiced by Pendleton Ward ), the King of Mars. Magic Man is found guilty, and while Jake tries to plead his case, it falls on deaf ears.
For thousands of years, Lincoln ruled as the king of Mars. More than 200 years before the start of the series, Magic Man loses his wife Margles to the deity GOLB, which drove him mad. He wreaked havoc in Mars by doing multiple horrible acts like turning water into hair, bringing shadows to life, and conjoining the limbs of all Martian citizens ...

Grob Gob Glob Grod is a four faced deity from Mars. They are the older brothers of King Man and first appeared in " Sons of Mars ." In " Astral Plane ," they sacrificed their lives to save Mars from a "comet" ( Martin 's spaceship), but in "Normal Man" it was revealed that they survived the impact and their heads are currently orbiting the Earth.

I recall hearing that Pen Ward felt odd about having a historical figure in the show and said that he could only be referred to as "the King of Mars" in the show (thus why he's never referred to as Abraham Lincoln).
