David Mitchell's Soapbox was a YouTube comedy series hosted by British comedian David James Stuart Mitchell (born: July 14, 1974 (1974-07-14) [age 49]), who is best known for his role as Mark Corrigan on Peep Show (who he played along with Robert Webb as Jeremy Usbourne).

The series consisted of 3-4 minute videos in which David talked about various issues in society (some more significant than others) and life experiences that had always irritated him. These videos usually tend to point the irony in such issues and experiences in a way that makes them seem very obvious - often resulting in the videos being informative as well as their primary purpose of being comedic.

Mitchell was born in Salisbury, Wiltshire, England, United Kingdom, and has Scottish paternal ancestry and Welsh maternal ancestry. He married English writer, presenter and poker player Victoria Coren on November 17, 2012, and their daughter Barbara was born in May 2015.

In a 2006 interview with The Independent, Mitchell spoke of his childhood dreams:

•Dear America: David discusses certain issues with phrases used commonly in American English, such as "couldn't care less".

•Naming Your Child: David discusses child-naming conventions, and the problems with "unique" names.

•Asking Inappropriate Questions: David discusses the issues with asking questions that may be insensitive or otherwise inappropriate.

•Standards of Spelling: David discusses the issues of poor spelling and grammar.
