Ruth Sobotka was a Viennese-born ballet dancer who performed with New York City Ballet and other companies. She also designed costumes for ballet, modern dance, and film, and was married to director Stanley Kubrick.
1955. Married for the second time to a dancer and theatrical artist, Ruth Sobotka. 1958. After divorcing his second wife year before, Kubrick married Christiane Harlan. They had three children. 1962. To film Lolita, moved to England. And lived there until the end of his life. 1999.
Ruth K. Sobótka is a higher education consultant, specialising in European university reform and the EU's external policy relations in higher education. She is currently undertaking research projects for the League of European Research Universities, the European University Association and the Centre of Higher Education Studies at UC Berkeley.
