  5. NIGEL BENJAMIN discography. Nigel Benjamin's first bands were Grot and Fancy, formed with friends from Southend in the early 70s. Fancy changed their name to Billion Dollar Band first, and then Royce. He joined Mott in early 1975 and stayed with them for two years and two albums.
