Brian Faloon is a musician born in Belfast, Northern Ireland. He played drums for Highway Star, who were to become Stiff Little Fingers, having met two of the other band members at Belfast Boys' Model School.

PSF: What happened to your first drummer, Brian Faloon? Why did he leave the band, and how did Jim come into the fold? HC: Brian left because his girlfriend told him it was her or the band. Jim answered our ad, and we had tried a few drummers, but being from Belfast too, he had an advantage, LOL.
Burns was joined by guitarist Henry Cluney, Ali McMordie on bass and drummer Brian Faloon. Stiff Little Fingers, Rockpalast 1980. Stiff Little Fingers had developed from a covers band called Highway Star, named after the Deep Purple track, with the new name purloined from a song by the London-based punks The Vibrators.
