Sein Nachfolger wurde Rückkehrer Max Duhamel, der nach seinem Ausstieg weiterhin mit der Band in Kontakt gestanden hatte. Nach der Überwindung seiner persönlichen Probleme entschied sich die Band, Duhamel wieder aufzunehmen.
