25. Aug. 2023 · It’s a name Philip Sneed came up with as he formed the band Greek Fire while still a member of Story of the Year, the platinum-selling, emo-metal band he played guitar and bass in for 15 years.

In March 2018, Philip Sneed announced his departure from the band citing he was let go via management, and not long after, the band announced the return of Adam Russell.
In May 2009, Philip Sneed aka Moon Valjean and Ryan Phillips (both from Story of the Year) joined with Johnny Venus and Mark Joseph Roth (both from Maybe Today) to start performing as the band Greek Fire.
This is their first album without guitarist and backing vocalist Phil Sneed and their first new music since 2010 that features bassist Adam Russell after coming back to the band in 2018. Release.
