Hugo Geronimo Fregonese (8 April 1908 – 11 January 1987) was an Argentine film director and screenwriter who worked both in Hollywood and his home country. He made his directorial debut in 1943. In 1949, he directed Apenas un delincuente.
Hugo Fregonese was born on 8 April 1908 in Mendoza, Argentina. He was a director and writer, known for Hardly a Criminal (1949), My Six Convicts (1952) and Savage Pampas (1965). He was married to Faith Domergue. He died on 17 January 1987 in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
