In Outer Space is the twelfth studio album by American pop band Sparks, released in April 1983 by Atlantic Records. Brothers Ron and Russell Mael of Sparks self-produced the album. Release. In Outer Space became one of Sparks' most successful albums in the U.S.
Sie gründete 1978 zusammen mit Belinda Carlisle die Rockband Go-Go’s und war dort als Sängerin und Gitarristin aktiv. 1983 sang sie im Duett mit Russell Mael auf dem Sparks-Album In Outer space die Lieder Cool Places und Lucky Me, Lucky You. Ab 1984 verfolgte sie eine Solokarriere und veröffentlichte vier Alben.
27. Aug. 2018 · Mit „Lucky Me, Lucky You“, dem dritten Song der LP-B-Seite gibt es dann einen weiteren Titel in Zusammenarbeit mit JANE WIEDLIN zu hören, die durch ihre Mitwirkung an „ In Outer Space “ THE SPARKS so zu einer deutlich stärkeren öffentlichen Wahrnehmung ihres 83er-Albums verhalf.
