Roy Lynes (* 25. Oktober 1943 in Redhill) ist ein britischer Keyboarder. Er war von 1964 bis 1970 Mitglied von Status Quo bzw. deren Vorgängerbands The Spectres und Traffic Jam. Nach seinem Ausstieg wurde er erst 1976 durch einen neuen Keyboarder ersetzt, nämlich Andy Bown.
In 1965, when Rossi, Lancaster and Jaworski left school, Jaworski opted to leave the band and was replaced by Roy Lynes. They began writing their own material, and later that year met Rick Parfitt who was playing with a cabaret band called The Highlights.

Außerdem zählten noch der im September 2021 verstorbene Alan Lancaster (Bass, bis 1985), John Coghlan (Schlagzeug, bis 1981) und Roy Lynes (Keyboard, bis 1970) zu den Gründern der Band. Mit “Pictures of Matchstick Men” machten Status Quo zum ersten Mal auf sich aufmerksam.
