Russ Barenberg (born October 8, 1950) is an American bluegrass musician. Biography. Barenberg began playing guitar at age 13, taking lessons from Alan Miller, whose brother, John Miller, Barenberg would later play with. His style was heavily influenced by the flatpicking technique of Clarence White.

Russ Barenberg ( 8 oktober 1950) [1] [2] [3] [4] is een Amerikaans bluegrass -muzikant. Biografie. Barenberg begon op 13-jarige leeftijd gitaar te spelen bij Alan Miller, wiens broer John Miller later speelde met Barenberg. Zijn stijl werd sterk beïnvloed door de flatpicking-techniek van Clarence White.
