Joan Bannister is the wife of globe-trotting war correspondent David Bannister. Returning to the US, Bannister becomes suspicious when Joan begins keeping company with known Nazi functionaries, notably the sinister Mr. Peter.
A war correspondent's new wife is suspected by his colleagues of being a Nazi spy. In Russia, Joan, marries globe-trotting reporter David Nabbister. Enroute to America, their ship is sunk but the newlyweds escape in a lifeboat with another passenger, Carl Gordon.
