Born in Ann Arbor Michigan on May 25 th 1946, Don developed a fascination and love for music an early age. His first instrument was a Silvertone Hawaiian steel guitar, purchased for him by his parents. Soon after he began to study the Steel guitar his attention turned toward Rock and Roll.

1. Juni 2018 · In July of 2018, all of the original Iguanas, with the exception of Iggy, plan to meet at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame to celebrate the installation of an ‘Iguanas’ legacy brick and receive their MRRL Hall of Fame certificates that were given to Don Swickerath.
