23rd Street Lullaby is the second full-length album by singer-songwriter Patti Scialfa. Released in 2004, a full 11 years after her debut, Rumble Doll, it finds her writing all the songs by herself, as well as co-producing the disc with Steve Jordan.
Soozie Tyrell (born May 4, 1957), formerly known as Soozie Kirschner, is an American violinist, guitarist, and vocalist, most known for her work with Bruce Springsteen in the E Street Band and formerly the Sessions Band.

Denn nicht alle Kompositionen präsentieren sich so packend wie z.B. der grandiose Titelsong 23rd Street Lullaby, der ein wenig an frühe Rickie Lee Jones Tage erinnert. Aber es tauchen genügend Highlights auf, um die oben erwähnte Nörgelei halbwegs wettzumachen.
