Bruce Slesinger, better known by his stage name Ted, is an American musician and architect who was the first drummer for Dead Kennedys. [1] [2] Dead Kennedys. Slesinger drummed for the San Francisco punk band, the Dead Kennedys, from July 1978 to February 1981.

Bruce Slesinger was the initial drummer in the Dead kennedys. He just went by "Ted" on their first single (California Über Alles). When Bruce/Ted left the band in 1980 he was replaced by D.H. Peligro. Currently Bruce Slesinger is working as an architect in San Fransico, CA.
