Alonza George Bevan (born 24 October 1970) is an English musician who is the bassist for the English rock band Kula Shaker. In between Kula Shaker splitting in 1999 and reforming in 2004, Bevan played in a number of groups including Johnny Marr's band, The Healers.

The origin of Kula Shaker can be traced back to 1988 when Crispian Mills (grandson of Sir John Mills and son of actress Hayley Mills and film director Roy Boulting) met Alonza Bevan at Richmond upon Thames College in South-West London.

A fluid pocket and melodic player, Bevan also helmed the solo album/band debut of The Smiths’ guitar icon Johnny Marr with The Healers also featuring drummer Zachery Starkey.
