The Hissing of Summer Lawns is the seventh studio album by the Canadian-American singer-songwriter Joni Mitchell, released in November 1975 on Asylum Records. It continues the jazz-influenced sound of Mitchell's previous album, Court and Spark, with more unconventional and experimental material.
Robben Lee Ford (* 16. Dezember 1951 in Woodlake, Kalifornien) ist ein US-amerikanischer Blues -, Jazz - und Rockgitarrist. International bekannt wurde er sowohl als Solokünstler als auch durch zahlreiche Projekte mit Chick Corea, Miles Davis, B. B. King, Joni Mitchell und Kiss.
A really lovely early Joni record with an all-star cast and some solid writing. That's right, you heard James Taylor, Robben Ford, Joe Sample, Jeff Baxter, and even Victor Feldman and Bud Shank. Amazing. Pressing is decent, no complaints.
