Wrong End of the Rainbow is the 1970 album from pioneer Folk rock musician Tom Rush. The music on this album, his second in 1970, tends to lean more toward the country rock style. The album was on the Billboard 200 chart for nine weeks and charted as high as #110 on January 30, 1971.

26. Juli 2018 · Tom Rush - Tom Rush / Wrong End Of The Rainbow (1970 us, exceptional solid folk rock) Second self-titled album, this time for CBS, finds Tom Rush continuing to mine the fertile vein of folk-rock songwriters the likes of James Taylor, Jackson Browne, and Canadian Murray McLaughlin.
Tom Rush relies on many good songwriters on his albums, but he does write himself, quite a few of them on Wrong End of the Rainbow, which sees Rush move from his mainstay of folk into country, with David Bromberg on pedal steel, some harmonica, violin, and dulcimer instruments on this LP to give that country feel.
