Nels Cline ist ein US-amerikanischer Gitarrist des Modern Creative Jazz und des Alternative Country.
Nels Courtney Cline (born January 4, 1956) is an American guitarist and composer. He has been a guitarist for the band Wilco since 2004. In the 1980s he played jazz, often in collaboration with his twin brother Alex, a percussionist.

25. Juni 2021 · To many, Nels Cline is the warbling lead guitarist for the prolific Chicago-borne alternative rock band, Wilco. He’s held that position since 2004. But to know the musician and lead player in that sense is to only scratch the surface of Cline’s vast sonic resume.
On November 13, 2020, Nels Cline released his 3rd Blue Note album Share the Wealth, a dynamic double album featuring 10 swirling, evocative soundscapes including the epic first single “Beam/Spiral” and their explosive version of Caetano Veloso’s “Segunda”.
