Marjorie Bruce or Marjorie de Brus (c. 1296 – 1316 or 1317) was the eldest daughter of Robert the Bruce, King of Scots, and the only child born of his first marriage with Isabella of Mar. Marjorie's marriage to Walter, High Steward of Scotland , gave rise to the House of Stewart .

Her marriage to Walter, High Steward of Scotland gave rise to the House of Stewart.
Marjorie Bruce was the only child of King Robert I the Bruce and Isabella of Mar. She survived the Scottish Wars of Independence, married Robert Stewart, and gave birth to Robert II, the first Stewart king of Scots.
Marjorie was the only child of Scotland's hero king Robert the Bruce by his first wife, Isabella of Mar. At the time of Marjorie's birth, her father Robert was Earl of Carrick. Marjorie was named in honour of her father's mother, Marjorie, Countess of Carrick and his maternal grandmother.
Marjorie Bruce was the daughter of Robert I, the first king of Scotland, and the mother of Robert II, the founder of the Stewart dynasty. She was a hostage, a prisoner, and a political pawn in the wars of independence, and died in childbirth in 1316.
Marjorie Bruce was the only child of Robert I, The Bruce, and was captured by Edward I of England in 1306. She married Walter Stewart, 6th Lord High Steward, and had a son, Robert, who became the first Stewart king of Scotland.
