Matthew George Frewer (born January 4, 1958) is a Canadian-American actor and comedian. He portrayed the 1980s icon Max Headroom [2] in the 1985 TV film and 1987 television series of the same names .
Frewer starred in four Sherlock Holmes films for Muse Entertainment, CTV and the Odyssey Channel. He performed leading roles in numerous television movies & miniseries, including Nick Willing's Alice (2009) (as the White Knight; for which he was nominated for a Gemini Award).
