Angela Baddeley (1904-1976) was a popular stage and screen actress in England and the U.S. She appeared in many plays, such as The Beggar's Opera, The School for Scandal, and The Cherry Orchard, and in movies, such as The Citadel and Tom Jones.
Angela Baddeley played Mrs. Bridges, the housekeeper of the Bellamy family, in the British drama series Upstairs, Downstairs. The series ran from 1971 to 1975 and won seven Primetime Emmys.
