Masanobu Andō ( jap. 安藤 政信, Andō Masanobu; * 19. Mai 1975 in Kawasaki) ist ein japanischer Schauspieler und Regisseur. Leben. Masanobu Ando is an established actor both in Japanese television drama and film and has gained a lot of acting experience. Famous directors whom he has worked with before include Kitano Takeshi, Motohiro Katsuyuki and Fukasaku Kinji. He is best known for his role as the the insane killer in Battle Royale (2000).

He played the role of Shinji, a high school student who gave up school to pursue boxing with his best friend. Ando became a popular young actor in Japan during the late 1990s, but his career slowed down in the 2000s, when he took fewer roles and was only in one or two films per year.
