Edgerrin Tyree James (/ ˈ ɛ dʒ ər ɪ n /; born August 1, 1978) is an American former professional football player who was a running back in the National Football League (NFL) for 11 seasons. He played college football at the University of Miami for the Miami Hurricanes.
