Alex Cuthbert (born 5 April 1990) is an English-born rugby union player. Born and raised in Gloucester, he plays on the wing for the Ospreys and the Wales national team.
1. Sept. 2023 · The Ospreys wing missed out on the 2023 World Cup after a calf injury and a fracture ruled him out for the rest of the season. He says he will keep playing until Gatland stops picking him and hopes to speak to him after the tournament.
14. Mai 2024 · Wales wing Alex Cuthbert will leave Ospreys at the end of the 2023-24 season. Cuthbert, 34, has spent three seasons with the Swansea-based side after joining from Exeter Chiefs in 2021.
Cuthbert's glittering international CV already boasts two RBS 6 Nations titles, a Grand Slam and a British and Irish Lions series victory. The Cardiff Blues wing made a name for himself on the IRB Seven World Series, featuring for Paul John's side during the 2009/10 and 2010/11 campaigns.
21. März 2024 · Cuthbert finally made his return as a replacement in last month’s dramatic BKT URC victory over Ulster and then started the narrow defeat away to Edinburgh. “It’s very good to be back,” said the 57-cap winger.
