Yoshihide Kiryū (桐生 祥秀, Kiryū Yoshihide, born 15 December 1995) is a Japanese sprinter who specializes in the 100 metres. Born in Hikone, Shiga Prefecture, Kiryū played football while at elementary school and became interested in track and field at junior high school, as his brother took part in the sport.

23. Aug. 2020 · Live sport returned to Tokyo's National Stadium - and Kiryu Yoshihide didn't miss a beat. In the first sporting event at the Olympic Stadium since the Tokyo 2020 Games were postponed in March, Kiryu held off his rivals in a deep field to win the men's 100m in 10.14 seconds at the Seiko Golden Grand Prix on Sunday (23 August).
9. Sept. 2017 · Yoshihide Kiryu clocked 9.98 seconds (Wind +1.8m/s) to win the men's Intercollegiate 100m final and became the first Japanese to go sub 10 in the 100m. Kiryu took .02 seconds off the Japanese national record set by Koji Ito in 1998.
