Ljubodrag " Duci " Simonović ( Serbian Cyrillic: Љубодраг Дуци Симоновић, pronounced [ʎǔbodrag dǔtsi simǒːnoʋitɕ] ); born 1 January 1949) is a Serbian philosopher, author and retired basketball player. He played with Red Star Belgrade, with which he won two National Championships, three National Cups and one FIBA European Cup Winners' Cup.

Der 1,96 Meter große Aufbau- und Flügelspieler kam 1967 von KK Sloga zu Roter Stern Belgrad. Mit Roter Stern wurde er 1969 und 1972 jugoslawischer Meister und gewann 1974 den europäischen Europapokal der Pokalsieger. [1]

Aug. 2020 · The national team was back for the 1969 EuroBasket in Naples, Italy, and with it Simonovic. three years after winning the silver medal as a junior, Duci won another silver with the men’s senior national team at barely 20 years old. The peak of Simonovic’s career came at the 1970 World Cup in Ljubljana.
